San Francisco, CA (Top40 Charts/ SCORNLAB LLC) Zink, the Singer Songwriter Lyricist Instrumentalist Recording Artist and Engineer has released a probing electro synth pop album after receiving encouragement and recording advice from Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics. There couldn't be more universal singles than "HARD TIMES AGAIN" and "GET TO WORK" right now. The album has been described as "a breath of fresh air".
Some people upon hearing Zink's voice have said, "That's lip-syncing, that's
Annie Lennox's voice." or after hearing a recording by Zink thought it was
Annie Lennox's voice from a solo album or a
Eurythmics song that they hadn't heard before. More than one person, upon hearing Zink's voice 'a capella' live for the first time, has exclaimed "It's the voice of an angel" as their mouths dropped open in amazement.
After a chance meeting with Dave Stewart in L.A., Zink had the chance to talk to Dave about how Dave and
Annie Lennox recorded the Sweet Dreams album on an 8 track reel to reel in a warehouse. Intrigued and with advice from Dave, Zink set about learning about recording. After receiving a certificate in recording engineering and after setting up a small studio in an edwardian flat in San Francisco recording began. "A CHANGE IN THE WEATHER" is the glorious result; an album of 13 original beautifully inspired poignant tracks.
For anyone who loves electronic music and orchestral instruments, glorious vocals, moody piano and more highly developed arrangements than usually found in pop, this is the album for yourself and for all your loved ones.
Annie Lennox doesn't put out an album very often, nor does
Alison Moyet who is another inspiration of Zink's, so for all who love these artists and beautiful heartfelt music, take a listen to ZINK's A CHANGE IN THE WEATHER and share the word today.
