Sinead O'Connor New Single And Four Very Special London Shows
LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Purple PR) Sinéad O'Connor releases her brand new single '4th And Vine' through One Little Indian on January 28th 2013. Sinéad will also be playing four very special shows at intimate London venues between November 2012 and March 2013.

'4th And Vine' is the second single to be taken from her latest critically acclaimed album 'How About I Be Me (And You Be You)?' Her ninth studio album, and the latest release in a career spanning 25 years and millions of record sales worldwide, 'How About I Be Me (And You Be You)?' ranks as one of her best and most confident pieces of work so far.

'4th And Vine' comes complete with brand new mixes by Tom Elmhirst ('Rehab', 'Rolling in the Deep') and long-term collaborator (and 'How About I Be Me' producer) John Reynolds, as well as a new version featuring performance artist Kate Tempest.

'How About I Be Me (And You Be You)' contains ten tracks that play like an encyclopedic definition of O'Connor's oeuvre: songs about love and loss, hope and regret, pain and redemption, anger and justice. This is an album of consistently moving, exciting, brilliant and beautiful songs built around Sinéad's voice at its very best - raw and passionate.

The album has had a fantastic reception from fans and critics alike with The Guardian calling it 'Joyous, brave and her most accessible in years'; The Sun 'A qualified return to form'; The Observer 'the high priestess of pop has recovered her mojo'; The Independent 'feisty, fresh and confident'; GQ 'A work of subtle beauty' and The Evening Standard 'this new record rightly re-establishes Sinead as an astonishing vocal talent'.

Sinéad has been playing new songs from the album at a series of critically acclaimed live shows through 2011 and 2012 at the Manchester International Festival, Iceland Airwaves, Mencap's Little Noise Sessions and a performance at London's Queen Elizabeth Hall which The Evening Standard called 'A fabulous reminder of O'Connor the musician. Brilliantly intense and intensely brilliant.' The Independent called it 'a heartbreaking performance from a vital musical force'.

Sinéad is playing a series of very special shows in London at personally chosen intimate spaces leading up to a final headline show at The Barbican. The first three shows at St Pancras Church, St Lukes Church and the Elgar Room in the Royal Albert Hall will offer a chance to see Sinead unplugged in intimate spaces before leading up to a final show at the Barbican Hall with a full band. In a nod to one of her musical heroes, Bob Marley, Sinéad has called it the Crazy Baldhead' tour.
