Floor Jansen In Birmingham
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Roadrunner Records) Nightwish's new vocalist, Floor Jansen (formerly of After Forever), was interviewed by the band's UK fan club, The Islanders, in Birmingham, England when they played there on November 6. In the clip above, she discusses her own thoughts while flying to the US to join the group on a day's notice; fan reaction to her joining; her personal highlight of the tour so far; and more.

She's definitely got the support of Nightwish mainman Tuomas Holopainen; he told MTV Finland (warning: interview is in Finnish), "The vibe in the band is marvellous. We are enjoying every moment...The fact that she had about 40 hours to learn 15 songs is quite revealing. She practically learned our tour set on the flight from Amsterdam to Seattle. We're talking about a high-level professional and her attitude is fabulous as well. It can be seen in her stage presence. She clearly enjoys what she does."

Nightwish's latest album, Imaginaerum, is available everywhere now - grab a copy from the Roadrunner webstore!
