Emerging Rock Group The Farthest Edge Makes Their First Appearance At The 40th Annual American Music Awards In Los Angeles
Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts / Chayil Entertainment) On Sunday, November 18th, The Farthest Edge converged on the American Music Awards scene for what they hoped to be their inaugural walk on the AMA Red Carpet. Realizing how important the American Music Awards are in the industry and to rising stars, the opportunity to be a part of this signature event ignited the rockers and like any other calculated risk takers, they set out to seize the moment, and headed to Los Angeles from Billings, Montana with less then 10 hours to spare before showing up at the American Music Awards. Before an after-party attendee stepped foot in any venue, The Farthest Edge was headed back to Billings, Montana to fulfill a commitment to help raise funds to support the victims of Hurricane Sandy. Before departing, Stephan Flores, The Farthest Edge's bass player, stated, "Being on the carpet was pretty cool, surreal, but it felt natural, like we belonged there." Lead vocalist Patrick Michaelis chimed in and had this to say about his experience, "Seeing what takes place behind the scenes at the AMA's firsthand was an experience that I will never forget and I look forward to the experience in the years to come."

About The Farthest Edge
From the rich land of Montana, The Farthest Edge was birthed in the Summer of 2011 as the baby of veteran musicians Rich Candelaria, Patrick Michaelis, and Matt Ryan. Drummer Zach Goggins and bass player Stephan Flores were recruited shortly thereafter. The synergy of this talented collaboration became undoubtedly recognizable and forged a platform for The Farthest Edge to open up for the likes of Pop Evil, Static-X and Deuce. The Farthest Edge has also had affiliations with bands such as Cinderella, Sick Puppies, and Candlebox. June of 2012 marked a milestone for the band as they were signed to management by Jaynie Jackson of a Los Angeles-based management company, Chayil Entertainment. They have since worked alongside of respected industry executives, including Kevin Black (formerly a VP at Interscope and a former President at Warner Brothers Records); The Farthest Edge brings more than just good old rock n' roll to the table, they collectively have a keen awareness of the social injustices in the world and heed every opportunity to give back through personal appearances, performances and charity events. https://thefarthestedge.com/
