Toms River, NJ (Top40 Charts) While being in the music business in this era is extremely difficult, new bands emerge all the time. To get any sort of notoriety is an accomplishment all in of itself, but to become successful is a project entirely on it's own.
Hailing from Asbury Park, NJ, pop-punk band The Hopeless Carrion has signed on to the Rock Wreckognition label in hopes of becoming the next big thing in the New Jersey music scene.
"We're very excited to be a part of Rock Wreckognition," Tyler Matthews, lead vocals and guitar, said. "We've been fans of the company for awhile now and it's great to get the chance to work with them now."
The Hopeless Carrion is new to the scene having been together for just over a year. They've played at The Brighton Bar, The Wonder Bar and even opened for punk legends The Misfits at The Starland Ballroom.
"We've done some cool things but we're looking forward to Rock Wreckognition taking us to the next level," Matthews said.
The Hopeless Carrion will record their first EP, "2 Out Of 5 Ain't Bad," this month on Rock Wreckognition record label, Bull Run Records.
