The System Returns With New Single & Album "System Overload"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The Electro - Soul Pioneering 80's Duo - The System - returns with highly anticipated release. The futuristic space funk of "System Overload" available on Jan 15th and their modern soul classic "No Fear of Flying" for Urban & R&B from the forthcoming album System Overload which will be released Jan 30th 2013

The pioneering synth duo The System, comprised of lead singer Mic Murphy and keyboardist David Frank, rode the '80s wave of emerging synth/MIDI music technology to help lay the foundation for contemporary electronic popular music with their upfront, unapologetic use of synths and intelligent songwriting.

Their revolutionary single "You Are in My System" helped to usher in a new era of electronically based pop music, leading to the release of their debut record Sweat in 1983. Following the release of X-Periment in 1984 and The Pleasure Seekers in 1985, the title track of their album Don't Disturb This Groove went to number one R&B and number three pop in 1987.
