Allstar Weekend / Cute Is What We Aim For at Anaheim House of Blues 1/19
LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts) Chart-topping Southern California pop-rock trio Allstar Weekend will embark on a winter tour with support from Cute is What We Aim For, YouTube star Tiffany Alvord and Beneath the Sun starting on January 19th at the House of Blues in Anaheim, CA. The 21-city trek runs through February 22 and includes two Canadian dates (see dates below).

General tickets are on sale now through Ticketmaster and Live Nation. Allstar Weekend VIP tickets are also available, which include a meet and greet/photo op, soundcheck performance, Q&A, an autographed 8×10 photo, VIP laminate and early entry to the show. All of the details and links to purchase tickets are up on www.AdubClub.com.

With their first two LP's cracking Billboard's Top 200 and appearances on such shows Good Morning America, Rachael Ray, Live with Regis and Kelly, MTV's 10 on Top and the Teen Choice Awards, Allstar Weekend has built up a strong and fiercely loyal fanbase (i.e. well over 21 million plays on Youtube, 250,000 followers on twitter and 1 million + friends of Facebook) that has enabled them to tour with the likes of Selena Gomez, Hot Chelle Rae and Demi Lovato and The Ready Set to name a few.

Allstar Weekend's latest single "Life As We Know It" has been in regular rotation on SiriusXM's Hits 1. The music video for the track can be viewed here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_5t4nY4Hzc. The follow-up single "The Last Time" will be impacting at Top 40 radio to coincide with the tour.

The band is currently recording their 3rd LP in Nashville with producer Jason Lehning (Mat Kearney). The release is expected in early 2013.

About Allstar Weekend:

This is the story of Allstar Weekend, formerly known as Allstar, and formerly-formerly known (or not-so-known) as Outerspace Politicians.

The story goes something like this...

Zach and Cameron met in Middle School in the San Diego suburb of Poway , California . Zach taught Cameron how to not be socially awkward, although recently, those roles seemed to have reversed. In High School, Zach started a band and put some jamz up on Myspace. That's how long ago it was...Myspace. The demos included the song "Dance Forever," which was recorded in their bedroom. The songs caught the attention of brother and sister team / owners of the independent, influential, trend-setting, and world-renowned label Drive-Thru Records, Stefanie Reines & Richard Reines (the former of the two who is obviously writing this bio). Stefanie and Richard were best known for their incredible ability to recognize and cultivate young, raw talent, and immediately saw it in "Outerspace Politicians."

Zach convinced Cam to learn to play bass, and their friend Michael Martinez emailed the band asking if they needed a drummer...they did! Michael happened to attend their rival High School and beat Zach in an "Air Band" competition, which remains a sore subject to this day. Anyway, the band now complete, the two teams joined forces - band and management - and set out to change the world and/or have some fun and make music.

First order of business: get rid of that atrocious band name. Name changed to Allstar.

Second order of business: not get sued by the NBA. "Weekend" added to band name. Still a legal issue, but soon sorted out and able to co-exist in peace & harmony.

The band was signed a year later to Hollywood Records. Singles, videos, photo shoots, ep, album, extended ep, Youtube videos, good stuff, bad stuff, fun stuff, not so fun stuff, cool people, not so cool people, ups, downs, highs, lows...whew! The outcome: an amazing fanbase who we love & cherish, some lifelong friends, and an album that we are still very proud of (All The Way) with the exception of a certain song (hint: it includes an ellipsis in the title).

To walk in the valley of the shadow of Mickey (ie Burbank, CA)...No matter how appealing it seemed, ASW never fully fit the Disney "mold." There were no TV shows, no movies, no promise rings, no smoke and mirrors. Just real dudes making real music wanting to do real tours and make real youtube videos without having to do some real censoring! They loved the H'wood years, and for the record, the band all LOVE Disney, but it was time for them to move on. And so they asked to be let out of their deal. No joke. They were not dropped. Hollywood was kind enough to recognize the band's vision was different from theirs, and it was time to move along.

Welcome to present day A-Dub. "The songs we're writing now we are more proud of than anything we've ever written" says Zach. This August we launched a Kickstarter and reached our funding goal in 24 hours! With the support of our fans, we are able to begin recording our third full-length record Dec 10 in Nashville with Producer Jason Lehning (Mat Kearney, Steve Forbert).

A handful of these new songs will be debuted on our Headlining Tour, which starts in Anaheim , CA at the House of Blues on January 19, 2013. Joining us on tour is Cute Is What We Aim For and YouTube star Tiffany Alvord.
