Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ Project Press PR) A new year with a new project underway in nothing short of amazing for Inland
Empire hip hop artist Noa James. While you can find the
Black Cloud
Music artist performing all over Southern California at any given time and generally staying busy, he is steadily preparing to bring fans his latest project, The Adventures of Young Orca, which is set to be released on Monday, March 4, 2013 on iTunes.
While fans still anticipate the release of his upcoming album Dionysus Lifestyle, they will be happy to hear this project is actually apart of James' Majestic Travels Collection. The Adventures of Young Orca also comes just in time for fans to hear his latest music on the Road to Paid Dues Tour, which features Murs, Fashawn, fellow
Black Cloud
Music artist Curtiss King, and many more. For two months, fans will be able to catch Noa
James performing all across the country leading up to the Paid Dues Festival at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, CA on Saturday, March 30, 2013 where the tour will officially end.
So when you ask Young Orca himself what this project will entail and how he was inspired by such a title, he hints "It's about me on a journey of finding myself and how along the way I've met some cool people. It's also about the relationship I have with my granny. Some verses are actually conversations I've had with her and all the tools she's given me to build and survive in this world, I talk about on this EP," and when it comes to the name Young Orca he says, "The title is another aka of mines from the 1977 hit movie Orca. A lot of tracks on this EP are features so it's more of an adventure."
While this project holds plenty of features from artists such as Curtiss King, Art Barz, Faimkills, Edgar Sosa, Fredo, Andre Damar, and Aliso Black,
James is also opening fans' ears to a few new producers. This new talent includes Nabeyin, Unite, Playa Haze, Brooks Beats, OYSM, Da Flatlyners, Villain, and
Black Cloud
Music producers Phantom Thrett and Jynxx. Aside from the great features and production,
James suspects his fans can expect "another chapter from my crazy life past, present, and future. And another piece of my heart, it's the sequel of Intelligent Elegant Elephant…but a much different sound. My voice is calm the color of my energy is in between teal and orange and a little bit red but that's for the passion and of course black and white."
As
James continues to prepare for the Road to Paid Dues tour and the release of The Adventures of Young Orca, he has faith that fans will "appreciate this EP."
