It was also among the most popular and highest rated shows on Discovery Channel International. Stroud's very remarkable life coupled with his advocacy for the environment and his abilities as a storyteller are well known. Add in his talent as a singer songwriter and you have a concert experience unlike any other.
Revered on an international level for his harmonica playing, Stroud's musical style is eclectic, ranging from folk-roots rock to contemporary art-rock (Peter Gabriel crossed with Dave Mathews). He has won numerous regional music festivals, has released three CD's (one with the Northern Pikes as his back up band) and is currently recording his fourth and fifth albums. His third album featured guest appearances from the Northern Pikes; Brian Potvin, Oh Suzanna and the Cowboy Junkies: Jeff Bird.
