New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Green Light Go) Inspired by the film True Romance, "Amy Dances" is about a guy obsessed with a stripper who'll kill anyone that looks at her sideways. And you'll be surprised by how quick you'll be jumping to your feet to dance to the beat. Toronto indie rock quartet JOJETO, who'll be joining Metric, Rihanna, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and over a thousand other artists for Canadian
Music Week this March, have released the bassy, dark, but fun "Amy Dances". Don't go assuming the song is autobiographical, though. "Its not like one of us fell in love with a stripper named Amy and killed a guy that crossed a line with her," say the guys. "We just like telling the story."

Tongue firmly planted in cheek, JOJETO proclaim their goal: "We want to replace
Nickelback as Canada's largest musical export!" An aspiration not out of place for a band that took their name from a less-than-successful dating profile. "We stumbled upon a Bulgarian guy on a pathetic Bulgarian dating website. His name was Jojeto. We thought what better way to represent us than a pathetic Bulgarian guy who can't get a date?"
Their electrically-charged songs brim with hooks and shout-your-throat-raw lyrics. The kinetic live show that landed them a showcase at Canadian
Music Week 2013 promises sweaty, dirty dancing and the appearance of a blow-up doll or two if you're lucky. JOJETO brings the kind of rough and rowdy energy with a quick smile that any memorable party needs.
Toronto indie rock quartet, JOJETO, are looking to show you a good time. And they are more than equipped to do it.
