The Recording Academy And Hitlab Announce Grand Prize Winner Of Emerging Artist Competiton
Montreal & Santa Monica, CA (Top40 Charts/ Recording Academy) HITLAB Inc. ("Hitlab"), in partnership with The Recording Academy, has announced Jade Novah of Cleveland, Ohio as the winner of its Emerging Artist Competition following the submission of original music to the contest's web page (www.hitlab.com). The competition launched Nov. 12, 2012, and was designed to provide up-and-coming artists and bands the chance to perform at an official GRAMMY Week event.

Novah, selected by a combination of fan votes and a blue-ribbon committee of music professionals, will perform as the headline act at the 4th Annual Social Media Rock Stars Summit reception Friday, Feb. 8. As part of the grand prize, Novah will also walk the red carpet and attend the 55th Annual GRAMMY Awards and official GRAMMY Celebration after-party on Sunday, Feb. 10. Second-and-third place runners-up John Thomas of Connecticut, New England and Beaux Saunders of London, England, will also perform at the Social Media Rock Stars Summit. The performance will be streamed live on GRAMMY Live, a three-day live stream platform of coverage on GRAMMY Week events on GRAMMY.com and CBS.com.
