IFPI Hong Kong Top Sales Music Award 2012

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ IFPI) The IFPI Hong Kong Top Sales Music Award Presentation Show 2012 was held successfully on 26th of February, 2013 at the Kowloon Bay International Trade & Exhibition Centre before 600 guests and artistes. In its eleventh year of presentation, the event was especially graced by the officiating guest, Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development Mr. So Kam Leung, Gregory, GBS, JP. For the lighting ceremony he was joined by the Hon. Ma Fung-kwok, SBS, JP, Mr. Ng Yu -Chairman of IFPI (Hong Kong Group), Mr. Gary Chan - Vice Chairman of IFPI (Hong Kong Group) and Mr. Herman Ho - Chairman of IFPI Hong Kong Top Sales Music Award 2012.

IFPI (Hong Kong Group) Ltd, the organizer of the event presented 68 awards to the winning artists and albums. Continued this year, the organizer was pleased to be joined by the Composers and Authors Society of Hong Kong for their fine assistance in deriving the result for the Hong Kong Digital Music Award for the year 2012.

A special honour was presented to the famous composer Mr. Joseph Koo, MBE, BBS for his excellent contribution to recorded music under, the title of IFPI Hong Kong Recording Industry Contribution Award.
