Crosby, Stills & Nash Announce Additional Dates On Their Spring U.S. Dates And Summer Tour Of Europe
Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts / Crosby, Stills & Nash Official Website) On the heels of their acclaimed 2012 year-long world tour, Crosby, Stills & Nash (CSN) are touring again this year. The group's 2013 itinerary begins with two very special dates in New York City when CSN, together with the Jazz at Lincoln Center (JALC) Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis , will perform "The Crosby, Stills & Nash Songbook" at Lincoln Center's Frederick P. Rose Hall . The May 1 concert is JALC's annual Gala fundraiser; the May 3 concert is open to the public (both shows benefit JALC).

Wynton Marsalis , JALC's Managing and Artistic Director, said, "Individually and collectively, David Crosby , Stephen Stills and Graham Nash are influential and important figures in American music. Their music is rooted in American folk, pop and blues traditions and their experiments with form, harmony and orchestration will make for a natural collaboration."

After New York, CSN embarks on series of dates in May in the Southeastern United States. The tour begins May 5 at the Hard Rock Live in Orlando, FL, and concludes at the Hard Rock Casino & Resort in Biloxi, MS on May 25. Other highlights include Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater, FL (May 7), the Seminole Hard Rock Live Arena in Hollywood, FL (May 10-11), the Peace Center Concert Hall in Greenville, SC (May 21), and the Performing Arts Center in Montgomery, AL (May 24). StampStampede—a grass roots campaign for campaign finance reform created by Ben & Jerry's co-founder Ben Cohen —will have a presence on the tour, offering information on how to mobilize to "Stamp Money Out of Politics."

CSN's tour of Europe commences on June 20 at the Junge Garde in Dresden, Germany, and concludes on July 22 in Monaco. Other destinations include the SAP Arena in Mannheim, Germany (June 23), the Max Schmeling Halle in Berlin, Germany (June 28), Stadpark in Hamburg, Germany (June 29), the Olympia in Paris, France (July 4-5), the Bospop Festival in Weert, Netherlands (July 13), and the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome, Italy (July 19).

The group's 2013 tour dates build on the momentum and excitement of CSN's 2012 tour, and features the same backing band: Todd Caldwell (organ), Shane Fontayne (guitar), Steve DiStanislao (drums), Kevin McCormick (bass), and James Raymond (keyboards). Reviewing last year's Red Rocks show, MSN Music's Mark Brown wrote, "CSN absolutely killed it. Every song…It's hard to believe that any band in 2012 would be putting on better shows than it did in 1969, but CSN did just that." Of the tour's October 22 closer, Zach Dionne wrote for Billboard, "Monday's finale to Crosby, Stills & Nash's international 80-date tour may have been one of the more memorable gigs of the group's career. Concluding a string of five nights at New York City's Beacon Theatre, the trio hearkened to 1969, showcasing the first-ever complete performance of their self-titled debut album…if anyone was disappointed, they hid it well."

CSN 2012, a 25-song set presenting CSN's first live performance film in more than 20 years, was released last summer and was a Billboard Top 20 DVD for 2012. Produced by Graham Nash , the set (Blu-Ray, 2DVD/CD) features complete concert from early 2012, and bonus content including a conversation with David Crosby , Stephen Stills , and Nash, and "on-the-road interviews" with the band and crew. CSN also recently released the first recording artist subscription-based iPad App approved for sale in the Apple App Store . The CSN App installs for free, and includes a media-rich overview of CSN's history; paid subscriptions also are available, allowing access to exclusive content and premium fan features.

More than four decades since CSN first harmonized in Laurel Canyon, and played its first-ever concert as a trio at the legendary Woodstock festival, its members continue a creative partnership that is one of the most influential and enduring in music. David Crosby , Stephen Stills , and Graham Nash have each been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame two times—with Crosby, Stills & Nash, and a second time with The Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, and The Hollies, respectively. They are also in the Songwriter's Hall of Fame, honored both for CSN as a group, and as individual solo artists.
