New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) Cassie Taylor has confirmed spring tour dates in support of her new album, 'Out Of My Mind,' out May 7 on Yellow Dog Records. Initial dates include a pair of performances at Hill Country's Washington, DC, and New York City locations May 2 and 3. The daughter of venerated bluesman Otis Taylor and already a ten-year veteran of the road at 26, Cassie has shared the stage with everyone from Buddy Guy and Joe Cocker to Alvin Youngblood Hart and JJ Grey & Mofro, in addition to hosting events with Gary Clark, Jr. and Jason Ricci. She draws on a wide swath of influences—from the Delta blues she grew up on to electronica, New Orleans second line, and West African psychedelic rock—to create her own indelible and utterly modern sound.
