New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Stone Iris official website) Blues Rock Reggae 5 piece Stone Iris who have been named Band of The Month for March by Edmonton rock station Sonic 102.9FM are proud to announce they will be releasing their newest album 'Kicking The Can' on Tuesday, March 26th as their first single 'I Wanna' is hitting airwaves across Canada.

"Kicking The Can was self recorded, produced and published right from the ground up. It's the first album we have done in this fashion. The band is very excited to be putting something fresh and original into the chasm of indy music. We kick off our North American tour on March 28th."

As Stone Iris plans to hit the road for their North American Tour, they will be performing for their home town crowd with an album launch / tour kick off show on Thursday, March 28th at the Starlite Room (10030 102 St NW.) with local support from Thompson Hiway,
Mayday and The Beatcreeps and The Unwed Mothers.
