New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Ctulu official website) Lovecraftian black metal act Ctulu have just released the third part of their studio report. The video concentrates on the recording of the guitar parts and features studio footage, interviews with band members as well as snippets from the upcoming album Seelenspiegelsplitter. Additionally, the band is finishing up the recording of their first ever music video for the acoustic version of the track "Nachtwind" off their previous album Sarkomand. A part of it was filmed during a heavy storm and saw the band's bassist, Lasse, take a bath in the 3℃ cold Baltic Sea. The video is set for official release on 3rd May along with the Nachtwind 7" and Sarkomand LP (GodEater Records).
Seelenspiegelsplitter is the band's third studio full-length album and the follow up to the highly acclaimed Sarkomand. The album launch will take place at three gigs in Itzehoe (11th April), Hamburg (12th April) and Erfurt (13th April) via Nocturnal Empire.
Seelenspiegelsplitter is intended to take you on a journey deep into the halls of the Esoteric Order of Dagon where your skin shall become grey as the sea, your eye color will vanish into grey nothingness and your soul shall be bound to the depths of the ocean.
The band has already confirmed one summer festival appearance: Czech Republic's MetalGate Czech Death Fest which will take place on 14-15th June. After finishing touring in support of Seelenspiegelsplitter in December 2014, Ctulu will disappear from the surface of the world and will not arise until the release of the fourth studio album.
