New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Underground Hong Kong) Quebec's band Van de Kamp, in collaboration with Boreal beer, will hold several concerts in China in April. The French rock band will be coming to Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Macao to present parts of their 1st album 'Dependence' and several new compositions. This will be their third tour in Asia and will be done in collaboration with The Sleeves and Shazza Music. Here are the tour dates:
April 3rd with Casino Demons and The Sleeves @ Beating Heart, Hong Kong
April 4th, @ the Wanch, Hong Kong
April 5th with The Sleeves @ LMA, Macao
April 6th, @ Hooleys, Guangzhou
April 12th, with The Sleeves @ Enigma, Shekou, Shenzhen
April 13th, with The Sleeves @ Beertopia Festival, West Kowloon, Hong Kong
Van de Kamp was selected from 180 bands across the province of Quebec and went on to win the Click ton Band contest, organized by 11 radio stations. Van de Kamp was crowned the grand winner by the fans and the members of the jury. As a result, the song
Sublime was recorded at Big Fat Truck Studio in Montreal as part of the Click ton band's compilation and became a popular single.
The band is now preparing their third tour in Asia. In 2011, they played concerts in Bali,
Macao and Hong Kong and in 2009 in Tokyo, Japan. Their album is now available in every Quebec record store and on iTunes everywhere on the planet.
