""Started From The Bottom" is currently my favorite Drake production because of the old school feel. I had an idea of making it my own and dropping it in a very deep and dirty style, like the old classic house tracks. I started by detuning and slowing the vocal, then retuning to the original pitch and added the deep bass line. I decided to call it Roger Sanchez Vs. Drake "Started From The Underground" because it kinda goes back and reflects on my roots in the underground scene."
