Park Slope, Brooklyn, NY (Top40 Charts/ Michael Martinez) The Gallery Players, Brooklyn's award winning Off-Off Broadway theater, continue their 46th season with Tom Eyen and Henry Krieger's Dreamgirls, beginning April 27th. Mark Harboth directs the limited engagement production that runs through May 19th.

Players bills the play as "A sweeping portrait of theAmerican music business, during a great time of change. Dreamgirls follows the rise of a Motown singing group, The Dreams, and the triumphs and tribulations that come withtheir fame and fortune." Starring as "The Dreams" are Charnette Batey as Deena, Tunisia Renee* as Effie, Aisha Curtis as Lorrell and Inuka Ivaska* as Michelle.
