Nashville, TN (Top40 Charts/ Bonner Black official website) Taking her career to the next level, 17-year old singer/songwriter Bonner Black has signed exclusively at ASCAP this week. Bonner has been rapidly building her song catalog and is content to find a PRO home.
"I am very excited to be working with LeAnn Phelan at ASCAP," said Bonner. "The friendly staff and atmosphere makes me confident that ASCAP will make a perfect home for my songs."
Currently touring throughout the southeast and Texas, Bonner Black is well on her way to accomplishing more at her young age than most do in a lifetime. Bonner has played at legendary venues such as The Bluebird Café and has collaborated with hit songwriters including Will Rambeaux (Faith Hill, John Michael Montgomery, Patty Loveless), Kirsti Manna (Blake Shelton, Big & Rich) and many more.
Very active in the crusade to end online piracy, Bonner has traveled to Washington D.C. with NSAI's CEO Bart Herbison and met with congressman and senators to preserve the rights of hardworking songwriters in Nashville and beyond several times. Currently recording a new EP with hit producer and industry vet Phoenix Stone (Backstreet Boys, Art Garfunkel, The Monkees), Bonner is well on her way to making a great name for herself in music.
