New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Earshot Media) Killswitch Engage are about to embark on their first headline tour in North
America in support of their just-released new album Disarm the Descent.
With
As I Lay Dying unable to participate, the band will now be joined on this tour by Miss May I, Darkest Hour, The Word Alive and Affiance.
Note: The Word Alive will join the tour June 3 in Orlando, and will not appear on the June 15 date in Guelph, Ontario, Canada.
As I Lay Dying, who were originally scheduled to support
Killswitch Engage on this tour, have issued the following statement:

In light of recent events,
As I Lay Dying will unfortunately not be taking part in the upcoming tour with Killswitch Engage. Given the circumstances, we feel that it is best for the band to be off the road while the current situation gets sorted. We'd like to thank all of our fans for their ongoing support at this difficult time.
