Texas Thunder Music Festival Kicks Off With Support From Local Community
Midland/Odessa, TX (Top40 Charts/ Webster & Associates) Today, Texas Thunder music festival kicks off with music, camping, and a good time for all. "It will be a great time and a safe time" said Herb Graham, Texas Thunder music festival executive producer and landowner. "Less dust and no open flames are a few things that we've made a priority for this event. We're working diligently to keep the dust down by watering the nearby roads as well as inside the festival grounds."

"I need to come out there to thank the people," says West, Texas, Mayor Tommy Muska. The Mayor along with another representative of West, Texas, Fire Department Tim Hill will be attending Texas Thunder on Saturday.

In addition to the amenities onsite, local businesses have joined the efforts to help West, Texas, by providing light towers, port-a-johns, water trucks, generators, and additional construction equipment needed for festival site assembly. "We are so fortunate ourselves, that when we heard what Texas Thunder was doing, we had to help," says Andy Salinas, owner or Odessa based Power Rig. "Providing trailers, generators, and any equipment we had available was the least we could do for those putting this event together to support those in West, Texas."

"We've had several local companies like Rig Power, Genco Energy Services, Carol's Ambulance, and A & P Services generously donate their equipment to the festival. They feel as strongly about the benefit as we do and are very thankful they decided to lend a hand for a great cause," said festival producer Brian Andrews.

Donations for those affected in the West, Texas, and tragedy can be made by calling 877-569-7767 or at www.texasthunderfest.com.

Weekend passes are currently available for $80 with camping priced at $110. A very limited number of single-day tickets are available for $40. Texas Thunder tickets are now available for purchase at Graham Central Station in Odessa, Rockin' Rodeo Midland and Arriba Midland.
