New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Steve Powers official website) New York native, Steve Powers is a force to be reckoned with, announcing his new single release "
Danger" from his forthcoming album which is due for release later this year.
For the past five years, Powers has held down DJ residencies at New York City's clubbing hotspots, Marquee and Lavo; performing alongside internationally esteemed DJ/producers such as Tiesto, Afrojack, Kaskade, Avicii, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk, Erick Morillo, and Chuckie.
Recently scoring an additional residency at Las Vegas' Light Nightclub, sees Powers joining the talented roster of Las Vegas' successful entertainment agency, The Light Group, sharing the stage alongside EDM talents' Skrillex, Axwell,
Sebastian Ingrosso, and Zedd. "It made sense for me to get into the studio, and really bring my music to their attention. By getting the experience to be side by side, and play alongside these guys, it has made me a better performer but also has helped me earn their respect," Powers insists.
Living up to his name, Powers is known for dropping slabs of electro, house and trance effortlessly, providing big room, dance-floor anthems. He has remixed hits such as
Christina Aguilera's, "
Your Body", Linkin Parks' "
Burn It Down" and as many more remixes and productions set for release.
Powers confesses, "I always try to bring something new and fresh every night and keep the crowd guessing and wanting more!" Expect to see more "
