Are You Ready?! Korn's 'Greatest Hits Vol. 1' now to arrive in stores two weeks earlier on October 5

NEW YORK (Korn press release) - Thanks to radio's great initial response to KORN's new single "Word Up" plus the fan buzz from their incendiary performances on the Projekt Revolution Tour, KORN's GREATEST HITS VOL. 1 will now arrive in stores two weeks earlier on October 5.

Filled with one KORN classic after another, the 19-track CD features KORN-ized versions of Cameo's funk classic "Word Up" and Pink Floyd's alienation anthem "Another Brick in the Wall, Parts 1, 2, 3."

Debuting at No 31 on the modern rock chart, "Word Up" was also the "greatest gainer" in the Modern Rock format as well as the most active phone song at Modern and Active Rock radio.
"That song ('Word Up') was tight back in the day and our version really does it justice," said KORN lead singer JONATHAN DAVIS to San Antonio News Express (8/18/04).
"It's just a fun, funky track," guitarist MUNKY told the Sarasota Herald Tribune (8/13/04), adding that the song "really broke down a lot of walls between black and white music... KORN is not serious all day, every day. We really do have a lot of fun, and that comes through on that song."
