Horse Of A Different Color" on Warner Bros. Records features the smash single, "Save A Horse (Ride A Cowboy)," will perform at the Chevy Rock & Roll 400 weekend, scheduled for
September 9-11 at Richmond International Raceway. The RIAA platinum-certified "
Horse Of A Different Color" has been called the hottest and most innovative release in years by critics, and firmly maintains at the No 3 spot on the Country Chart for the fifth week in a row. The album is currently at No 11 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart.
This exciting and action-packed race weekend features the Chevy Rock & Roll 400 (which is the final race that sets the field for NASCAR's inaugural Chase For The NASCAR Nextel Cup) on Saturday night September 11, as well the Emerson Radio 250 NASCAR Busch Series race on Friday, September 10. It's a race fans and music lover's dream weekend, and Big & Rich plays a major part in both events!
Firstly, the musical highlight of the weekend will be a Big & Rich performance prior to the Emerson Radio 250 NASCAR Busch Series race on Friday, September 10. The free show will start at 5:00 p.m. at the 10,000 seat amphitheater located outside of Turn One at the raceway. The band is taking time from their coast-to-coast North American tour to appear, and it's sure to offer some special surprises!
Secondly, on Saturday, fans of the band will be able see Jeff Burton's America Online sponsored Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet Monte Carlo racecar emblazoned with a special Big & Rich paint scheme, take to the track. It's the perfect opportunity for a Big & Rich fan (who may not know too much about the sport) to jump right in and start rooting for a favorite!
