LOS ANGELES (Kataphonic Records/ www.katrinacarison.com) - Kataphonic Records is proud to announce the release of Katrina Carlson's third single to radio, "Drive" - a brilliant cover of the 1980s smash hit originally performed by The Cars.
Radio has responded brilliantly with 21 adds - propelling Katrina to No 1 most added out of the box first week on both the R&R and ACQB charts.
Mike Shipley, who mixed The Cars original version of the song, was also at the board for Katrina's renewed rendition of the classic hit.
In addition to mixing Katrina, Shipley has also worked with The Cars, Shania Twain, AC/DC, Tom Petty, Aerosmith and Faith Hill, to name a few of his past projects.

Katrina's first two R&R, Billboard and FMQB charting hit singles, "Count On Me" and "I Know You By Heart" (featuring the legendary Benny Mardones) had longevity on the Adult Contemporary radio charts, spending almost 4 months each among the major industry indicators - an incredible feat for an independent record label artist.
Not bad for the youngest of 11 children who is out touring the country in support of her sophomore record "Untucked".
