New York, NY (Top40 Charts) As a part of Verve Records' Verve Remixed series, Toro y Moi have remixed Billie Holiday's "My Man." The label's latest installment is a 13-track release entitled Verve Remixed: First Ladies and features some of electronic music's hottest names chopping and screwing timeless classics from old female jazz singers.
The Verve Records' latest installment, titled Verve Remixed: The First Ladies, is all about spotlighting those timeless female voices, such as Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, and Dinah Washington, and features reworks by Bassnectar, Kaskade, Flume, Miike Snow's Pontus Winnberg and more.
