Sleep City Announces New Album 'Distance & Age'
Providence, RI (Top40 Charts/ Tragic Hero Records) One of Tragic Hero Record's recent signings Sleep City is releasing their new album Distance & Age, which was engineered by John Dello Iacono at Maximum Sound Studios. For an added touch, the group had the album mixed and mastered by Ryan Furlott of Rain City Audio. The album is set to be released on July 09, 2013, but Sleep City will debut their first single on June 17, 2013. About Sleep City:
Sleep City came together when the members were still in high school, drawing influences from acts like The Starting Line, Brand New, and Thrice. They've created a unique sound that is both aggressive and intricate, while still maintaining a pop sensibility. It's no surprise that they were invited to open for artists such as Chiodos, Emarosa, and Senses Fail among others.

They recently signed to Tragic Hero Records and just finished their self-produced album Distance and Age, which was engineered by John Dello Iacono at Maximum Sound Studios. For an added touch, the group had the album mixed and mastered by Ryan Furlott of Rain City Audio. "We are extremely excited to have been given the opportunity to join the Tragic Hero Records family," says guitarist Matty "Bags" Baglini. "We feel like the band has matured and grown a lot musically and Distance & Age reflects those changes. We feel that D&A is by far our best work yet and we're pumped to finally share it with everyone." You can catch the band at a show this summer in a city near you.
