NEW YORK (Bad Boy Records/ Universdal Records) - Fo' Reel/Bad Boy recording artist Mase is back after a five-year hiatus with his third installment, Welcome Back. The album features his hit single "Breathe, Stretch, Shake" which is a Top 20 Most Played record in Atlanta, Los Angeles, Miami, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC. Last week the hit single was the No 1 Greatest Gainer on the R&B/Hip-Hop and Rap Charts as well as the No 1 Most Added song at Crossover and Urban Radio formats.

The music video for the bass-heavy, dance single, "Breathe, Stretch, Shake," directed by Benny Boom, was recently added to MTV Jams & BET. The video is quickly becoming a hit as it is this week's, MTV Jams "Jam Of The Week."

Welcome Back, features other tracks like, "I Wanna Go," a heartfelt public vow to a private soul-mate about real choices and love. "Keep It On," is a smoothed-out hip-hop/R&B joint perfect for the after-hours with a special message aimed at the young ladies, "we don't have to take our clothes off/to have a good time." Other stand-outs include the inspirational cuts "I Owe" and "Gotta Survive." "I Owe" is a club-banger. And one listen to the fierce "Gotta Survive," with its rolling piano notes and triumphant drums will carry the listener along in what is the most honest and powerful song of Mase's career.

In 1997, Mase released his debut album, Harlem World, which spawned hit singles such as "Feel So Good" (Platinum), "What You Want" featuring Total (Gold) and "Lookin' At Me" (Gold).
Harlem World went on to be certified 4X platinum. In 1999, Mase released his follow-up gold album, Double Up, and his group Harlem World's, The Movement album, which also is certified gold. On April 4, 1999, Mase shocked the music world when he decided to retire from music and relocated to Atlanta where he pursued his faith and education.

Mase will present at this year's MTV video Music Awards in Miami on August 29th. In addition to this, he will continue to promote Welcome Back by performing on various promo dates across the nation. He recently performed "Breathe, Stretch, Shake" on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn. Today he is scheduled to make an in-store appearance at Manhattan's Virgin Megastore.
