Based in his hometown of the Entertainment Capitol, Andre Mieux A.M.X. grew up in a city constantly surrounded by music and musicians. With family members in the Los Angeles Philharmonic, piano was his first connection to music and the singer was classically trained on the instrument from about five years old. He grew up watching his sister play the piano and could not wait to dive in and beat her at her own game. Andre's competitive spirit fuels him to strive for greatness and exudes in everything he pursues. As Andre evolved as a musical artist, he discovered his velvety, vibrato-ridden vocals and exercised them to the point of perfection. As part of a group called Eagle Wings and a singing group called Down 4 You in high school, Andre learned about hard work and what it took to be a respected artist in the industry. At age 12, he was producing music with GRAMMY winner and former member of the Yellowjackets, Ricky Lawson.
