This year the Media Tech Association kicks off their Entertainment Media Expo Monday August 30, 2004 at 6:00 PM with the DVD Entertainment Awards hosted by Leonard Maltin. Honorees include The Lord of the Rings: Two Towers, Finding Nemo, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Mystic River and Big Fish to name a few.

The Entertainment Media Expo begins Tuesday, August 31, 2004 at 9:00 AM with over 100 exhibits featuring the latest technology relative to DVD and Surround. Leading keynote speakers include Billy Bob Thornton and Robert Crumb in exclusive video presentations. Phil Rosenthal, creator of Everybody Loves Raymond and Netflix founder Reed Hastings are also highlighted speakers.
Surround workshop by Peter Frampton held 11:15 AM - 12:00 PM on Tuesday, August 31. Surround workshop by Herbie Hancock held 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM Tuesday, August 31. Crystal Method will give a demo seminar on their high end technology field.
