BURBANK, CA. (Warner/ Reprise Records) - Guster, the Boston-based trio whose latest Palm Pictures/Reprise Records release, "Guster On Ice," is one of the most acclaimed albums of the current music season, have consolidated their status as hometown favorites with nominations in four key categories for the upcoming Boston Music Awards, scheduled to be held at the Avalon in Boston, September 29th.

Guster was nominated as both a Boston Music Award's Act Of The Year and Outstanding Pop/Rock Band of the Year. Their 2003 major label debut, "Keep It Together," earned a nod in the Album of the Year (Major Label) category, while a key cut from that release, "Amsterdam," was nominated as a Song Of The Year contender.

Comprised of Ryan Miller (guitar, vocals), Adam Gardner (guitar, vocals) and Brian Rosenworcel (percussion), Guster has garnered critical and popular acclaim with their galvanizing live show and a series of groundbreaking albums, including 1994's "Parachute," 1996's "Goldfly," 1999's "Lost And Gone Forever" and the above mentioned "Keep It Together."
The threesome recently completed an extensive tour with Ben Folds and Rufus Wainwright, other dates with the Dave Matthews Band and appearances at the Bonnaroo Music Festival.
