LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Sticky Toffee PR) Reece Rydar "The Artist", of Ghanaian decent was born in Hammersmith (West London) 1988. He has made a name for himself within the entertainment industry by his evident talent and above all his commendable work ethic; "Reece is one of the hardest working musicians I've worked with" Andrew Skye. Since evolving from Grime to Hip Hop, Reece has kept his fan base satisfied and growing by producing new material and content on a consistent basis. "I always remember to keep myself grounded and that although I'm blessed with this talent, hard work always beats talent when talent doesn't work hard".
Reece who is a member of the Margin
Kings Movement has currently released his second EP, "The Artist" following his debut EP "
My Passion". The Artist showcases his ability as a songwriter and the versatility in his unique sound whilst collaborating with producers from around the globe. The EP also features the internationally recognised R'n'B superstar Maskerade and fellow members of the Margin
Kings Movement. His first release will be "
On My Way" which features previous X Factor contestant, Raquel

Reece began his musical career at the age of 17 at his homemade studio catering to not only himself but to local artist and friends. Then known as Rancour "angry young kid", Reece found his comfort and release through song writing and performing. His drive led him to performances on stages of different calibres such as
Oceana Watford, Base Hatfield and Supperclub Ladbroke Grove to name a few.
Although labelled as "angry young kid" his compassionate and understanding character for social difficulties and ability to empathise despite his own struggles emerged in his track "Letter to Haiti". He performed this at Camden Lock and all proceeding went to charity to support the disaster. However, his most prominent work that showcases his character is in his track "Better in Time". He wrote this to generate funds for Red Nose Day in collaboration with his employers at the time (TK Maxx). This got massive recognition from not only his fans, but also generated accolades from
Fame Academy judges Carrie and
David Grant who said "you will make it one day".
Reece Rydar aims to remain grounded and continue to be a positive role model through his music and to keep breaking the preconceptions of rap. He believes in his ability to keep evolving as an artist and will continue to keep producing outstanding material alongside the Margin
Kings Movement. Reece is feeling great about his new project "The Artist" and he truly feels it projects his journey through music and the influences of his environment. "Grab my pen; grab my pad, today I'm going to make it. Call the world, let them know, that I'm here for the gold."
