Independent Record Label MVB Records Holds Listening Party For Hip Hop Artist RayBop's "Life's A HOE" Mixtape
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ MVB Entertainment) "Life's A HOE" is the 4th studio mixtape, by independent Bronx, New York Hip Hop artist, RayBop-not counting a "best of 2012" compilation, that was also released via independent record label MVB Records, earlier in 2013. Life's A HOE is a 17 track mixtape, which is totally written, produced, and composed by RayBop, and was released exclusively on iTunes, July 23rd 2013, and later to be released on all other digital stores, on August 6th, 2013.

When asked why iTunes received the mixtape earlier than other digital retailers, the owner of MVB Records, and CEO of MVB Entertainment, Abdel 'Sosa' Russell, said this:

"Right now the music industry is struggling to find its balance. During this struggle, you have to make sure you maximize your artist's earning potential. If the only place where music fans can consume an album, or a song, is on iTunes, and if they really like the music, then they have no choice but to purchase the music on iTunes. But that's not rocket science, it's basic supply and demand."

The semi-private listening party will be attended by local DJs, music video directors, urban magazine reps, video models, and more. Abdel 'Sosa' Russell says they chose to hold the event at Daddy's House Recording Studios, because of the ambiance, and location. He also said that the notoriety scale for RayBop's presence over seas, versus how well he is known in his home town (NYC), is off balance, and holding a listening party with influential players in the underground New York Hip Hop scene, is a smart move.
