This special East Coast edition of Camapalooza features none other than blues legend Johnny Winter, neoclassical shredmaster Yngwie Malmesteen, the multitalented Robben Ford, KISS drummer

Between Aug. 7 and Aug. 11, Campers will jam and learn beside true rock and roll legends. Campers who enroll in the Recording Package will work with Grammy Award Winner Jack Douglas, whose discography includes classic recordings by John Lennon, The Who, and many others, in Avatar Studios (formerly The Power Station) for an exclusive recording session. Then they will take the stage at the legendary BB King's in Times Square. The fantasy continues when they write and rehearse next to their favorite Rock Stars at the Gibson Showroom (formerly The Hit Factory) where scores of colossal recordings were made, including Michael Jackson's "Thriller," Bruce Springsteen's "Born In The USA," and Stevie Wonder's "Songs In The Key Of Life." Finally, on Saturday Night, campers will perform at The Cutting Room - on the very stage that rockers
David Bowie, Kid Rock, and
John Mayer have all performed on.
Both 3- and 5-day Campalooza packages are open to musicians of any skill level aged 12 and over. So, whether you are just learning to play or have been rocking since you first saw Elvis on the Ed Sullivan Show, there is a place for you on the Campalooza stage of stars. More experienced players will be eligible to audition for a special Masters Program to ensure they are placed with their peers.
