New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Plexi PR) The StageONE series kicked off with huge success with 'Never Say Never' featuring Sasha, Guy Gerber, Maya Jane Coles,
Davide Squillace, and Bill Patrick on July 4. Check out the madness of Verboten's biggest party yet in the recap video below. Named one of Time Out New York's "Big 5 Summer Parties," and VIBE.com's "4 Best Techno Events in NYC This Summer," Verboten's StageONE series is back with Somewhere in BKN, featuring
Luciano and Carl
Craig performing a special back-to-back extended set with Moodymann and Agoria on the beautiful Williamsburg, Brooklyn waterfront this Saturday, July 27.
Somewhere in BKN will bring back StageONE's massive sound and visual installation, local food vendors, and games, along with special Brooklyn-based performers including the Brooklyn Beast breakdancers,
Double Dutch jumpers, and a live art mural by graffiti artists from Lofty Goals. To top it off, StageONE is ready to help you cool off with a free water station, misting fans, and plenty of shade from the summer sun.
Carl Craig's Brooklyn edition of his "Somewhere in..." event -- where the location is irrelevant; what matters is the music, the sound, the music again and the collective journey it takes us on -- features the Brooklyn debut of Cadenza Records head
Luciano for a back-to-back extended set, plus legendary
Detroit techno/house veteran Moodymann, and French sound pioneer Agoria. Listen to the free download of GRAMMY-nominated Carl Craig's BBC
Radio "6 Mix" on Soundcloud here.
The StageONE event series produced in association with Highline Ballroom and Mad Dog Presents LLC, is sponsored by Belvedere, Moet, Jameson, Avión Tequila, Heineken, Sixpoint, Red Bull, and Bedford Slim's Vapourette. A VIP section hosted by nightclub connoisseurs Provocateur will also be available, and includes expedited entry, prime viewing, couch seating, hostess, VIP bathrooms, and full liquor bar.

"the party of the summer… with exceptional bookings and an impressive location, it is safe to say that this was a well-received endeavor for Verboten, New York's premiere underground party series." - MIXMAG
"Following the teched-up revelry of its July 4 debut, this plus-size outdoor affair returns to the Williamsburg waterfront. Musically, this edition will be out of the ordinary: The Cadenza label's
Luciano plays a back-to-back set with
Detroit innovator Carl Craig, the former's crisp house nestling up against the latter's sometimes-spiky techno. French producer Agoria gets in on the action—but the real wild card is Craig's fellow Motor City vet Moodyman, the iconoclastic and mercurial DJ-producer who's as likely to play real-deal soul and disco as he is underground club beats." — TIME OUT NEW YORK
"When the party was announced earlier this year, Twitter and Facebook feeds blew up. Verboten is synonymous with NYC's underground and their parties just get bigger and better while somehow never abandoning their underground roots. On July 27th they welcome
Luciano b2b with Carl Craig, Moodymann and Agoria to Brooklyn in one of the most talked about events this summer." — VIBE.com

About Verboten
Verboten is a leader in the New York underground dance music scene, booking, producing and promoting a number of deep house and techno parties at a variety of large clubs, boats, festival stages and music conferences. Verboten was founded by Jen Schiffer and John Perez over ten years ago with the goal to bring much-needed high quality production, friendly customer service and the best international DJ talent to an eclectic crowd of discerning music fans. In 2012, Verboten was voted 'Best Party' in Time Out New York, 'Best Promoter' in Paper Magazine, and was nominated for 'Best Event Promoter' in 2013′sInternational Dance
Music Awards. The word Verboten, German for "forbidden," is a reference to all the fun New Yorkers weren't supposed to be having in New York in years past. The parties' re-occurring branding and custom visuals takes this satire a step further, depicting a crumbling, futuristic dystopian surveillance state where fun and dancing are completely outlawed.
Music is Verboten, indeed.
