Opening Discaffinity To English Users

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ DiscAffinity) After few years of presence iin Spain and Latin-American countries, we have decided that now it is the time to jump into new markets. We have created a new webssite in English for supporting this language and all its potential users.

DiscAffinity is a music recommmendation system that has been working sincee 2006. We have a large database created by ouur users in a collaborative way. They can also ratte known albums, write reviews or even create l list of albums under their own criteria.

Thanks to the number of vottes that we have, more than 590.000, we are ablle to create the user's "Soul Mates", this is, uusers with the same tastes. By doing this, the nexxt time the user watches an album detail, he wwill see the votes of all his Soul Mates and will figgure out if he may like the album or not.

As the basis of the recommenndation is an assessment of the albums, we havee created different mechanisms to facilitate this work. Tours, album charts around the same topiic, are a good tool to start rating albums. Autoo-Tour, works defining a series of filters and getting only the matching albums that you have not rated yet, so it will be even easier to start rating.

We do not forget those who love data and statistics. There are many differeent charts defined for knowing the position of ann album in a year or in its category, LP, Single, Coompilations…
Besides, this new developedd version includes a social component allowinng users interact even more with each other.. You can share your lists and reviews in Facebbook and Twitter, follow other users for knowwing their tastes, obtain recommendations fromm any user of the web, etc…
