Chicago, IL (Top40 Charts/ SAE Institute) SAE Institute, recently recognized as being the best audio engineering school in America by Vibe Magazine , will co-host a worldwide video chat Q&A with Manny Marroquin, a Grammy-winning mix engineer for such artists as Alicia Keys, Usher, Pitbull, Linkin Park, and Bruno Mars, Rihanna, John Mayer, Imagine Dragons, and Fun. The chat will be held on Tuesday, July 30 at 1:30PM PST.

Marroquin won Grammy Awards for his mixing work on Mary Mary's album "Thankful" in 2000; Alicia Keys' "Diary of Alicia Keys," Kanye West's "College Dropout," and John Legend's "Get Lifted" in 2005; and John Mayer's "Battle Studies" in 2011. His work can also be heard on Kanye West's latest release "Yeezus."

"Manny's chat will offer a fantastic opportunity for both aspiring audio engineering professionals as well as established pros to get inside info about the mixing strategy behind some of the biggest recordings of the past 20 years," says James Brooks, Campus Director for SAE Institute Chicago. "Participants should definitely have their questions ready to type in and send, because there are sure to be lots of good ones."

Registration for Manny Marroquin's live worldwide video chat Q&A is free . The event is co-hosted by SAE Institute along with SoundBetter and Point Blank Music School.
