New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Steve Cooke official website) Rock 'n' Roll artist Steve Cooke will celebrate the worldwide release of his single "Nothing matters" at
Molly Malones in West Hollywood on Friday August 23rd, 7.30pm, with a live show from his new power trio.
The song was tracked at Phil Rudd's (drummer AC/DC) private recording studio in Australia. Los Angeles guitarist Jeff Kollmann contributed to the line up of international musicians playing on the single recently, with some stellar guitar work. The track was mixed and mastered last week in Hollywood.
Steve Cooke has also enlisted some heavy weight acting support from the Hollywood film community for his "Nothing matters" video, which is currently in production.
The video will feature men's clothing from his fashion designer Herczeg Zoltan and actor Michael Madsen's hot new fashion line Madsen & Duke from their "Bad Ass" range.
"My vision is to create a music clip that feels like a film trailer and this single is the perfect sound track to get that mini movie vibe, also the actors have a few lines and the fashion label blends beautifully into the 'Easy Rider' meets 'Sons of Anarchy' theme," says Cooke, who will be directing the clip.
The VIP and public audience attending the release party are in for an extra treat, as they will experience a new sound and show from Cooke with him demonstrating the transformation of his acoustic 12 string music to electric, thanks to the folks at Gibson Guitars who have recently placed an electric Gibson 12 string gold top Les Paul guitar into his hands.
"I'm honored to have the opportunity to play this incredible instrument and I can't believe
Joe Walsh just played it in the new recording of Hotel California a few days ago," said Steve.
A night not to be missed for fans of Rock 'n' Roll and those who want to experience one of LA's finest singer/songwriter, 12 string guitarists shifting gear into a new world of Electric Magic.
