Vocalist Human Furnace commented on the new EP and upcoming tour:
"We're really psyched for the "Bleed" EP. One thing that we really like about Relapse is the attention they put on their vinyl releases. It's going to look and sound awesome. We're definitely from the old school when it comes to that. 75% of my music collection these is vinyl.
Digital format is fine and very convenient, but over time its made the listener listen to an album out of context. A good record should be listened to all the way through; in the order it was meant, not just thrown on shuffle. Plus, it just sounds better, if you ask me"
"We're really looking forward to our October run, with Howl and Call of the Void. 2 really slammin bands. Should be a lot of fun. Also we're getting the chance to hit some cities that we haven't (or ever) played in a long time. I, personally, will enjoy playing some new material from the upcoming record for folks. It's good stuff."
