Primitive Man: Album Streaming In Full Courtesy Of The Obelisk
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Relapse Records) In honor of its imminent release just one week away, today fine ministers of doom at The Obelisk are streaming Scorn, the harrowing new full-length from Denver misanthropes Primitive Man, in its entirety!

A blackened doomcentric anger parade that's both physically and mentally crippling, Scorn was initially unleashed earlier this year via a collaboration between Throatruiner and Mordgrimm Records and reaped critical hails both nationally and abroad for a "totally malignant sounding record ... that will consume you whole if you're not careful" (Cvlt Nation).

Recorded by Dave Otero at Flatline Audio (Cephalic Carnage, Catheter, Cobalt, etc.), Primitive Man's Scorn boasts seven smothering psalms of hate, despair and rampant discontent for the world and all those in it. Metal Hammer dubs it "the best worst thing that has ever happened to you." About.com agrees crowning Scorn, '"...one of the most brutal, unsettling and uncompromising albums you will hear all year." Adds Revolver in a 4/5 review, "Primitive Man's sound is heavy and almost hypnotic in its feedback-swaddled darkness, and Ethan Lee McCarthy growls like a mutant monster rising up from a lake of radioactive piss to wreak its hellish revenge."

Feel the odium in all its glory, courtesy of The Obelisk, here (https://bit.ly/19D8Gnw). Relapse Records will reissue Scorn on CD, LP and digitally on August 20, 2013. To preorder, click here (https://bit.ly/19sEY0V)
