Orlando, FL (Top40 Charts/ Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes) Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes announce the release of the "Acid Trip" Mixtape by Timothy Westbrook II . The 10 track project is currently available for download. The mixtape features appearances from Kyler England along with production from Mitch Geist, Kontender and DTM.
Timothy Westbrook II is a Hip Hop artist from Detroit, MI. Music has always been a major part of Westbrook's life, singing in the chorus at a very young age. Once Hip Hop entered Westbrook's life he tirelessly worked on fine tuning his craft and developing his own sound. In 2011 Westbrook released his first song titled "Getting to the Money" which caught the eye of Def Jam and Sony Music Group. Next thing he knew he was in the studio laying down tracks to create what would become "I Do This" produced by Lil Keis, provided by Sony. At this point Westbrook knew he had something special.
"Acid Trip" is the follow up project to his DJ Krill endorsed mixtape series entitled "More Than A Mission". "Acid Trip" catalogs Westbrook's progress as he takes his experience performing and building a fan-base in Atlanta and combines that with his new found knowledge as a Recording Engineering and Music Business student at the cutting edge Full Sail University.
Timothy Westbrook II is an authentic artist who only raps about his real life experience, never pretending to be something he is not. "Acid Trip" is a truly accessible mixtape for anyone regardless of background. His first single off the mixtape, "White Girl", is a playful song that features acoustic guitar behind Asher Roth " I Love College" style lyricism. This mixtape also features some themes often found in current Pop and EDM music. A great example of this is " Take Me" which features female vocal accompaniment from Kyler England. If you are looking for a mixtape that provides a current look at what is going on across the music industry with an authentic perspective, this is the mixtape for you.
