"Seconds From Greatness" Mixtape By Jae Retch
Chicago, IL (Top40 Charts/ Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes) Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes announce the release of the "Seconds From Greatness" Mixtape by Jae Retch . The 12 track project is currently available for download. The mixtape features appearances from Jay Beretta, Lil Kelso, C. Love, and Anna.

Jae Retch was born Julius De'Von Evans on May 2, 1992 in Chicago, IL. Raised in a Chicago project featured in the TV series "Gangland" called "Cabrini Green", Jae was in the heart of crime and drugs. Due to instability within his family, Jae found himself moving back and forth between the rugged streets of Detroit and the beautiful sunshine state of Florida. Jae found his passion for music in 5th Grade when he impressed his friends during an after-school Freestyle session. Jae is heavily influenced by Jay-Z, Lil' Wayne, Ice Cube & Eminem; but sees Jay-Z as his biggest role model because he changed the whole playing field.

Jae was later found by an independent label out of Detroit called "C2 Records" which was owned by Quinton Rice. Immediately, they began working on Jae's music and polishing up his sound, producing his first EP with the label titled "The TryOuts". The EP proved to be a success so three months later they dropped Jae's first major mixtape "Requested". This mixtape gave Jae much needed exposure in his hometown Chicago and in Detroit. This project was so successful that it gained the attention of Grammy Award Winning producer Denaun Porter of "D12" along with the interest of a few major labels. This buzz lead Jae to collaborate with the best local artists and producers as well as perform at some of the largest venues in Michigan.

After breaking off with the label due to creative differences, Jae self-released "Seconds form Greatness" whose name derived from a dream where God told him that he was "destined for greatness". The production on the mixtape is top notch accompanied by authentic lyricism which delivers an impactful message with some true Hip Hop stylings. "Seconds from Greatness", which was sponsored by Aptemal Clothing, really exhibits the mature sound and experience of Jae's perseverance throughout his music career. No song on this mixtape should be skipped but the sexy songs featuring Anna stick out as undeniable hits. If you are looking for a truly artful mixtape that features the lyrical delivery of a rapper destined for greatness, this is the mixtape for you.
