NEW YORK (AP) - Whitney Houston pulled-out of Michael Jackson's second tribute concert last night, again sparking fears about her health. Promoters were left with just two hours to find a replacement after Houston failed to turn up, reports the New York Post. Concerns for Whitney's health were raised after her performance with Jackson on Friday, with many onlookers shocked at the singer's emaciated appearance. Internet columnist, Matt Drudge, reported that Whitney was "completely wasting away to skeletonism" and appeared to be "at stages of illness beyond even Karen Carpenter before she passed." It's not the first time that Houston's behaviour has caused concern. In January 2000, Houston was caught with half an ounce of marijuana at a Hawaiian airport. Though the charges were dropped, the singer was ordered to pay several fines. Later that year, following a string of unusual incidents, Houston failed to turn up for a scheduled appearance at the Oscars. There has been no official comment on Houston's recent no-show, though it might have been because her husband, Bobby Brown, was only asked to perform at the first show.
