The Devil Wears Prada Releases New Album '8:18' On September 16, 2013; Headline UK Tour Starts October 1st
LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Mercenary Publicity) One of the most potent and powerful bands in modern American metal, The Devil Wears Prada, release their new album '8:18' on September 16th through Roadrunner Records.

"TDWP are in a league of their own" - Metal Hammer
"The Devil Wears Prada deliver, and then some" - Top40-Charts.com
"… impress with their brilliantly brutal sound" - Kerrang

Following on from the release of the anti-idolatry themed 'Dead Throne' album in 2011, which reached No 10 in the Billboard top 200, '8:18' was produced by Matt Goldman and TDWP, with Adam Dutkiewicz of Killswitch Engage on executive producer duties. '8:18' embodies an unflinching, uncompromising authenticity born from revelatory introspection and obsessive workmanship. It continues the war against humanity's dark urges, pointing the finger inward and outward through a medium that is itself both bleak and grand. The overriding theme on '8:18' is misery, exploring that mental and emotional state through its various guises, manifestations and interpretations. Tracks like "Gloom," "War," "Black & Blue" and "Home for Grave" exploit concepts like mediocrity, existential angst and life's bigger questions under an atmosphere of musical dread, hostility and darkness.

Frontman Mike Hranica commented, "The new album has been another big step for the band, and our thoughts have been relentless in regards to releasing and playing the songs. With the UK's terrific reception of Dead Throne, we're looking forward to immediately coming back and debuting the new material that we're so enthused with."

Following their headline slot at GhostFest on June 30th, the band kick off a headline tour in the UK on October 1st in Portsmouth, winding up in Sheffield on October 15th. Full tour dates below.

An incendiary live force, and relentless road warriors, the band have played countless headline dates and festival sets; recent highlights include spending the summer of 2012 alongside Slipknot, Slayer, Anthrax, and Motörhead on the all-star Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival.
