New Single - Ill Cassidy 'Casanova (George Gets All The Girls)'
LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Vision Music Promotions) Ill Cassidy hail from Cressex in High Wycombe, Buckhamshire. They describe the local atmosphere as "The town that brought you a museum of dusty old chairs and nothing else". While local snobs say if you added crack to Essex you'd get Cressex. Tom Sharman and Nick Ross have been writing songs together for over 7 years. They only casually wrote music for a laugh until on the roof of a house party Nick played Tom a song he had written to his ex girlfriend. It was a heartfelt serenade confessing his love of sleeping with her best friends now they'd split up, Tom quickly added some jokes and the pair agreed that they'd start a band.

Soon after this Tom and Blythe Arpino-James were living on Nick's sofa when they teamed up and began writing what would become their first album. Tom, Nick and Blythe are all prolific songwriters, Each individually contributing to the lyrics and the music, their subject matter comes from the events/people they have faced so far while growing up as part of the so called "lost generation".

They recently released a video online of their first show entitled "Town Rats and Dirty Money", containing clips of 4 of the songs they have written for their first album. This was shot in the last venue of High Wycombe's extinct music scene which happens to double up as a strip club, One friend of the band didn't show up because he thought they were bribing him to come along and see them with a free stripper.
