Serenity is a teenage singer and songwriter born in Jackson, MS on July 5 1999. She currently resides in Horn Lake, MS; just outside of Memphis, TN. Serenity has gained the attention of her local community and the near by music hub of Memphis, performing in off Broadway plays and winning local talent shows. Known for her ability to sing anything and make it her own, she has had the honor of gracing the stage of Apollo Theater. This powerhouse singer fell in love with singing as the result of her passion for the music of artists such as Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Chrisette Michele, Mariah Carey, and Taylor Swift.

Though Serenity had been receiving local acclaim for her signing ability, it was not until the music video for her first song "Jacob" received over 200,000 views on YouTube that she started to received national attention. Her little sister is teasing her about not being able to go as the songs starts. The video is very well shot featuring some quality camera work and cool transitions. The video switches through scenes of Serenity in the studio, at home, hanging with her friends, and singing on a photo-shoot set.
