Dexters Announce New Single, The Hard Way, Out November 17, 2013
LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ DawBell PR) Hotly tipped East London band, Dexters, today announce the release of their new single, ' The Hard Way' - out November 17th on Acid Jazz Records .

Bristling with raw energy and melodic charm, 'The Hard Way' is a no-holds barred coming-of-age anthem, giving a nostalgic and reflective account of the trials and tribulations of youth.

Frontman Tom Rowlett says:
"The Hard Way is a song about being in a rush. Not always thinking things through, but standing by your decisions and being unapologetic for who you are, even if it means going the long way around. Learning the hard way."
He continues:
"Through a shared love of bands such as The Clash, The La's, The Kinks and Black Lips, we formed to make a band that infused the best of all the things we love most from our heroes; the Aggression of The Clash, melodies Of The La's and lyrical writing style of Ray Davies of the Kinks.
We believe in this band, and you can see that we mean it at our live shows."
Following support slots with The Courteeners, Miles Kane, The Happy Mondays, The Enemy, The View and Glasvegas, Dexters are set to hit UK stages this Autumn on an extensive headline tour taking in Uxbridge, Scunthorpe, Wigan, Bristol, Portsmouth, Oxford, Brighton, Birmingham, Sheffield, Liverpool, Manchester, Stoke, Nottingham, Stourbridge, Glasgow, Newcastle and Leeds. Full tour dates below. Tickets are now on sale via: www.dextersband.co.uk

With an intriguing mix of influences ranging from the aggressive visceral punk of bands like The Clash and Sex Pistols to the tuneful storytelling of artists like The Kinks, Dexters have already caused a big stir with recent singles 'Recover' and 'Start To Run' and garnered tastemaker support from the likes of NME and The Sun. With their live following rapidly growing at each show they play, Dexters are sure-fire ones to watch as we head into the new year.
