Wikipedia Page Published About Historic Rock 'N' Roll Music Composer

Nashville, TN - New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Beverly Ross Official Website) Iconic songwriter Beverly Ross who penned "Dim, Dim the Lights" for Bill Haley and His Comets and the world famous "Lollipop" with Julius Dixon finally has a page on Wikipedia, the world's free encyclopedia.

In late 2011, Beverly started working on her memoirs with collaborator Amanda Williams, a songwriting community leader, artist and friend of Ross's.

"By the time I knew we needed a Wikipedia page for Bev, I was already disqualified from writing it because of my personal relationship with her," says Williams, who convinced an objective Editor to write the piece about Beverly a few months ago.

Williams began working with Ross in order to help tell her story as one of the pioneering female songwriters of the Rock 'N' Roll genre.

"Beverly wrote "Dim, Dim the Lights" with Julius back in 1954 when she was still in high school," Williams says, "and in those days, it was no insignificant feat considering that Mr. Dixon was black and Beverly was white."
