Soul Asylum Kick Off Fall Tour/No Fun Intended Out Now/New Album Coming In 2014

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Independent Music Media) Soul Asylum is taking a break from the studio where they are working on songs for their upcoming 2014 album release to embark on a fall tour with Fountains Of Wayne and The Lemonhead's Evan Dando kicking off on September 27.

After years of playing random cover song's at shows the band has taken that tradition into the recording studio to pay tribute the artists and songs that have inspired them, the result is a series of EP's to be released throughout 2013, the first no fun intended out now digitally features covers songs from Joy Division, MC5 and Suicide Commandos, produced by the band & John Fields.

Soul Asylum also recently hit the studio to record 'Little Shiva's Song' to be included on a double CD that comes out in November as part of the Songs For Slim Fundraiser in support of Replacement's guitarist Slim Dunlap for more information go to: www.songsforslim.com.
